Ritual Story of Jamie D. aka Lightning Ghoul

My name is Jamie. In the GHOST community I’m known as Lighting Ghoul, the ghoul cosplayer, and I will tell you about my ritual story that happened at the O2 Arena in London on 11th April 2022.

It first started at December 2021 when I saw they are gonna play in London and that was the big time I can see them finally. I quickly ordered my tickets which were seated because barrier was going fast so I couldn’t get the chance sadly. But very soon, I was in full joy when the order got through and wait for the tickets to arrive.

Now fast forward to 8th April 2022, I travelled to England to stay over for the ritual. I stayed in Brighton which wasn’t far from London because of relatives now living over there. I stayed over there for 4 days to spend an extra day in the UK for fun.

Now to April 11th its showtime, I brought my ghoul outfit plus my mask with me but unfortunately couldn’t take it in the arena. I got changed to it headed for the train to London which took an hour to get there. Then I took the tube with an extra 15-20 minutes to get to the arena. When we arrived there were lots and lots of people. People I don’t even recognise because the people I’m friends with are all over the world which can’t be there sadly.

We waited around 30 minutes which wasn’t long until I bumped into my friend that I haven’t seen and spoken for two years and I was so incredibly happy to see her. We talked for 2 mins checking in how we doing. We were excited for tonight. All happy smiles etc. It was time to go in and go through security to get to our seats. Again my masks wasn’t allowed past the escalators so I had to put it in a locker to keep safe and get back after the show,

Anyway, we got to our seats and the wonderful Band Twin Temple played incredible and rocked our hearts with their performance. I haven’t looked too much into them but they are definitely a bussin band with great dancing tunes.

Then Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats the last support performers to play played, their music was pretty catchy and awesome so deffo a band I recommend.

Then the band we’ve been waiting for GHOST had joined on the stage. Everyone freaked out when the first note got played. They were screaming, jumping, headbanging to all the songs which I did of course to all their songs for two hours (my neck did hurt but I didn’t care hahah).

Everyone was singing along to the songs and screaming the cool lyrics because its great lyrics. Seeing all the Mummy Dusts, confetti and the stage lights. It looked so much more prettier in person. The Ghouls and Papa really enjoyed as how they looked. Then sadly the show ended.

Once I got outside, I’ve seen all my best friends at the GHOST poster to take photos. I was also included in a photo with the Sisters Of Sins banner at the poster. There were many hugs, tears and happy faces.

It was time to start running home to get the train before there was no more service. I didn’t get in time for the last service so I had to get a bus to Brighton which took a while. I was very tired because it was already 2-3 am when I got home. But I really enjoyed the show so much. It was my favorite so far and I cannot wait to go to more in the future.
